CAPSULE WARDROBE : WHITE SNEAKERS

The clean, simple, white sneaker is a staple to get around in style without compromising comfort. These sneakers can be worn in all seasons since you can wear them with a light, mini dress in the summer or a warm, cozy coat with jeans in the winter  (at least in California). Below are some of the most minimal sneakers in the game and a few of my favorite outfit inspirations that I intend on replicating in the future:

Thousand Fell Vegan Leather Lace Up Sneaker ($120) Pros: Vegan, perfect minimalist look, low key branding // Cons: Poor customer reviews, especially their customer service on their direct website, but they're available at Madewell now.
Koio - Triple White ($268) Pros: Handmade, 100% Italian made, fair wages for their employees, low key branding, short "break-in" period, slimmer profile // Cons: Higher price point, requires leather conditioner and protection spray, no half sizes (size up)
Oliver Cabell ($192) Pros: Comparable to the icon Common Projects sneaker, made in Italy, wider lacing, all day comfort // Cons: Wider silhouette, rose gold branding, late shipping, poor customer service, long "break in" period, no half sizes (size down)
Frye - Ivy Low Lace ($197) Pros: Slimming profile, low key branding, great reviews, comfortable, half sizes are available, great customer reviews // Cons: Tan insoles, slightly grainy texture, made in China

Stuart Weitzman - Livy Sneaker ($250) Pros: Converts into slides, minimal branding with a simply flower icon on the tongue, no break in period, on sale at some websites like Revolve // Cons: The leather creases easily, the angled ankle means wearing super low socks or none at all, the silver metal rings around the laces leaves marks on the white laces
