- Superdomestic: A female & BIPOC owned establishment, this local favorite usually has a line out the door on the weekend. They serve pastries from Sugar Bloom (the infamous strawberry almond croissant) and have a variety of matcha beverages, unique cycling gear, homemade kombucha, and of course, delicious coffee. They have a series of unique lattes that are inspired by the local schools in Culveirty City and 15% of your purchase goes back to those schools. My go-to is the iced chaggachino with a shot of espresso & oat milk.
- Millcross Coffee Bar & Kitchen: If friends want a chill & easy coffee date, Millcross is my first choice. The staff are incredible friendly and the brunch menu is perfection! My go to is the shakshouka with extra bread on the side. They have a seasonal "CTC" which tastes exactly like the cinnamon-toast- crunch!
- Blue Bottle: It's a chain that started from San Francisco and it's found a home in at the Platform next to Margot, Roberta's, Sweet Greens, and Boba Guys. This location has a unique seating area that looks like a large staircase. The go-to beverages are the New Orleans Cold Brew with oat milk and on days that I'm caffeine free, I love getting an iced Hojicha Latte with oat milk. If you have extra time and are craving a savory morning treat, snag a bagel from Pop's.
